Scholastic Warehouse Fairs are held twice each year (fall and spring). One is located in Danbury. They are not open to the general public but ARE open to homeschoolers.   There is a very big selection, particularly in chapter (fiction) books, but also non-fiction.  The sales are VERY popular with homeschoolers, you get some really good deals so it's worth the trip.
